This house was completely redesigned in stages, starting with the back end of the house. The style is contemporary using Harlequin horizontal striped metallic wallpaper, Designers Guild black cut velvet sofa and cushions in the sitting room. Feature chandelier light mirror by Deknudt Decora above an all mirror console was used to create the illusion of space and stripe cut velvet roman blinds to give flashes of red and black finishes this room off.
The main lounge, which is now open to the dining area after knocking a wall through, is light and airy with a through and through feature fireplace to the sitting room off the kitchen. Suede effect wallpaper has been used to great effect in the dining area with Brian Yates grey metallic wallpaper in the lounge area.
The kitchen has been extended to incorporate the garage that now creates a fantastic double height room with sitting area off. Stone grey gloss units have been installed with solid oak work tops. Raspberry paint features on one wall to create contrast and ties in with the blue/red shimmery mosaic tiles used as splash backs.
The master bedroom features a solid wood bed with built in side tables. The feature wallpaper behind the bed is by Casamance in a warm grey colour. Sumptuous black faux fur throws and cushions feature on the bed with deep purple lampshades with glass ball bases. Sliderobes supplied and installed their amazing custom made wardrobes into the combed ceiling making the most of the storage – one door even hides a flat-screen television, keeping the look clean and sophisticated.
